Bugatti Chiron (LEGO® 75878, 2017) — 500 units of the standard Chiron at $3m base, before the Sport, Pur Sport, and Super Sport derivatives. Ferrari F40 Competizione (LEGO® 75890, 2019) — only 19 of the LM-spec F40s built, 1989-1994. McLaren Senna (LEGO® 75892, 2019) — 500 units, $1m base.

The 2021-2023 wave followed the same template at higher density. McLaren Elva (LEGO® 76902, 2021) — 149 units (originally 399, demand reduced the run), windscreen-less open-cockpit. Ferrari 812 Competizione (LEGO® 76914, 2023) — 819 hardtop units plus 599 Aperta variants, the last naturally-aspirated front-V12 Ferrari. Pagani Utopia (LEGO® 76915, 2023) — 99 coupé units at €2.2m, before the Utopia Roadster expansion. McLaren Solus GT & McLaren F1 LM (LEGO® 76918, 2023) — 25 Solus GT customers, 5 production F1 LMs, both the smallest production runs in their respective decades.

The current-end of the cluster shows the pattern accelerating. Audi S1 e-tron quattro Race Car (LEGO® 76921, 2024) — Audi's Dakar prototype, never road-legal. Bugatti Centodieci (LEGO® 77240, 2025) — 110 units at $9m, EB110 thirtieth-anniversary tribute. Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale (LEGO® 77254, 2026) — 799 coupé and 599 Spider units, road-legal evolution of the XX track-only programme. McLaren W1 (LEGO® 77257, 2026) — 399 units, $2.1m base, the Senna's spiritual successor and the closing bracket on a hypercar lineage that started with the 2015 launch trio.

The hub functions as a chronological scarcity ledger — every car here was, at launch, simultaneously announced as “collectible”. Whether the LEGO® sets themselves carry equivalent collector value is a separate question; the line's hypercar entries do tend to retain price better than its bread-and-butter motorsport sets, but the “limited” status applies to the real cars, not the bricks.
