Pagani Utopia

The first ever LEGO® Pagani — a 249-piece miniature of the manual-gearbox V12 Utopia hypercar that succeeded the Huayra.

Set #76915 2023 249 pieces 8-stud Retired

76915 is a notable first: until its release in March 2023, no Pagani had ever appeared in any LEGO® theme. The Utopia itself is equally singular — the only modern V12 hypercar offered with a true 7-speed manual gearbox. Brix Plus presents this set as the LEGO® entry point to one of the most distinctive boutique car brands in the world. It was retired at the end of 2024 after a roughly 22-month run.

THE ROAD CAR

Pagani Utopia

6.0L twin-turbo V12 with 7-speed manual gearbox

The Pagani Utopia was unveiled in September 2022 as the production successor to the Huayra, ending a 12-year run for that platform. Pagani's stated brief — articulated by founder Horacio Pagani at the launch — was to deliberately resist the industry-wide pivot to electrification and digital interfaces, and instead double down on what the Italian press called 'analog luxury'. Production is capped at 99 coupé units, all sold before the public reveal. A Roadster variant followed in 2024 — both confirmed on Pagani.com, with the LEGO® coupé modelled in 76915 and indexed at Brickset.

Powertrain is a Mercedes-AMG-supplied 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged V12 developed exclusively for Pagani, producing 864 PS (852 hp) and 1,100 N·m. Buyers can choose between a 7-speed manual transverse gearbox and a 7-speed automated manual — the manual being a deliberate counterpoint to the dual-clutch standard at this price point, and the headline feature most often cited in Pagani.com's product page.

76915 was launched alongside 76914 Ferrari 812 Competizione and 76916 Porsche 963 in LEGO® Speed Champions's March 2023 wave. Per Brickset, it is the first LEGO® Pagani in any theme — Pagani has never appeared in Technic, Creator, or any other LEGO® line. The 8-stud-era footprint allows for printed bodywork details that capture Pagani's signature exposed-mechanical aesthetic.

People

The Utopia's story is overwhelmingly Horacio Pagani's — but the Mercedes-AMG engineer who built its V12 deserves credit too.

Horacio Pagani

FOUNDER & CHIEF DESIGNER, PAGANI AUTOMOBILI (1992–PRESENT)

Horacio Pagani founded Pagani Automobili in 1992 after leading composite-material development at Lamborghini, and has been chief designer for every Pagani road car since the 1999 Zonda. The Utopia's exposed-mechanism dashboard, hand-machined gear linkage, and quad-tip exhaust array are all signatures he has carried across every model. The decision to offer the Utopia with a true manual gearbox — almost extinct at this price point — was Horacio's personal call, as documented in his interviews with Top Gear and Road & Track at launch. See Pagani.com.

Mercedes-AMG GmbH (Affalterbach)

ENGINE SUPPLIER, M158 V12 PROGRAMME

Mercedes-AMG has built every Pagani road-car engine since the original Zonda's 6.0-litre M120 V12 in 1999. The Utopia's M158 V12 is unique to Pagani — Mercedes does not use this engine in any of its own road cars — and is hand-assembled at AMG's Affalterbach engine plant by a single technician per unit, then shipped to Pagani's San Cesario sul Panaro factory for installation. The Pagani–AMG relationship is one of the longest continuous engine-supply contracts in modern automotive history. See LEGO® 76915.

The build

Scale and era

76915 sits in the LEGO® Speed Champions 8-stud era introduced in 2020. It launched in the same March 2023 wave as 76914 Ferrari 812 Competizione and 76916 Porsche 963.

Build highlights

Notable on the build is the printed silver detailing across the front splitter and rear diffuser — a deliberate visual cue to the Utopia's exposed-mechanical aesthetic. The roof is built up rather than a single moulded canopy, which captures the Utopia's distinctive double-bubble profile.

What the 249 pieces buys you

249 pieces is mid-range for an 8-stud-era single-vehicle set — a 25–35 minute build. The piece count reflects the Utopia's complex bodywork, with multiple printed elements rather than stickers.

FAQ

Common questions about the LEGO® Pagani Utopia 76915.

Is LEGO® set 76915 still available?
No. 76915 launched on 1 March 2023 and was retired on 31 December 2024 according to Brickset. It is currently in the recently-retired window — sealed copies still appear on BrickLink at near-RRP prices.
How big is the LEGO® Pagani Utopia?
Approximately 14 cm long and 6 cm wide — the standard 8-stud Speed Champions footprint introduced in 2020. See archived dimensions on the LEGO.com listing.
How many pieces does LEGO® set 76915 have?
249 pieces and one driver minifigure unique to this set, per Brickset.
Is this a 6-stud or 8-stud LEGO® Speed Champions set?
8-stud. 76915 is part of the wider LEGO® Speed Champions scale that began in 2020. The 6-stud era ended at the close of 2019, per Brickset.
Are there other LEGO® Pagani sets?
No — 76915 was the very first LEGO® Pagani in any theme. There are no Technic, Creator, or other Pagani sets in the LEGO® catalogue. See Brickset's Pagani search.
Why does the Utopia have a manual gearbox?
The 7-speed manual transverse gearbox was a deliberate brand decision — Horacio Pagani argued at launch that a hypercar should engage all of the driver's senses, and that a dual-clutch automatic, however fast, abstracted the driver from the powertrain. See Pagani's Utopia model page.
