LEGO® Speed Champions Formula 1

The first LEGO® Speed Champions Formula 1 sets were not single-seaters at all. McLaren Mercedes Pit Stop (LEGO® 75911, 2015) was a pit-lane diorama; F14 T & Scuderia Ferrari Truck (LEGO® 75913, 2015) bundled the 2014 Ferrari with a transporter. Both were paddock pieces — diorama-led play sets — rather than F1 cars proper, and both were retired within a couple of years.

Between 2017 and 2022 the line ran F1 as a halo programme rather than a full grid. Scuderia Ferrari SF16-H (LEGO® 75879, 2017) was the line's first standalone single-seater. MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team (LEGO® 75883, 2017) was a 963-piece W07-era flagship that bundled the W08 with a full pit-bay tableau, and the Mercedes-AMG team gave away a 127-piece minifigure-pack edition (LEGO® 75995) the same year. After a long gap the line re-engaged with Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E Performance & Mercedes-AMG Project One (LEGO® 76909, 2022) — pairing Lewis Hamilton's championship-winning W12 with the road-going Project One that shared its 1.6L turbo-hybrid power unit, the closest thing to a Formula 1 engine ever sold for the road.

The pivot came in 2024. 2023 McLaren Formula 1 Car (MCL60) (LEGO® 76919) and Aston Martin Vantage Safety Car & AMR23 (LEGO® 76925) tested the appetite for current-spec single-seaters; a McLaren polybag (LEGO® 30683) carried the message into impulse retail. The signal returned, and in 2025 the line did something it had never done before — it built the entire 10-team grid: Ferrari SF-24, Red Bull RB20, Mercedes W15, Aston Martin AMR24, Visa Cash App RB VCARB 01, KICK Sauber C44, Alpine A524, Williams FW46, Haas VF-24, McLaren MCL38 (LEGO® 77242 through 77251). A separate Ultimate Formula 1 Collector's Pack (LEGO® 66802) bundled the grid as a single SKU.

The 2026 wave broadens the lens further. APXGP Team Race Car from F1 The Movie (LEGO® 77252) is the fictional team from the 2025 Joseph Kosinski / Brad Pitt feature — the first Speed Champions F1 set drawn from cinema rather than the championship. F1 ACADEMY LEGO® Race Car (LEGO® 77258) marks the line's first all-female-series entry. And Audi Revolut F1 Team R26 Race Car (LEGO® 77259) commits to the 2026 grid's most-discussed new entrant — Audi's first Formula 1 programme in the series' 76-year history, taking over the former Sauber operation.
