Lamborghini Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo

The first LEGO® set to model a Vision Gran Turismo — the digital-only Lamborghini concept built for PlayStation.

Set #76923 2024 230 pieces 8-stud Approaching end-of-life

76923 captures the Lamborghini Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo, a single-seat hypercar concept that Lamborghini designed in 2019 specifically for Polyphony Digital's PlayStation racing series Gran Turismo Sport. The V12 Vision GT exists as one full-scale physical show car — built for the 2019 Gran Turismo World Tour at Monaco — and as a fully drivable in-game model. LEGO® 76923 is the first Speed Champions set built around a Vision GT, and one of the few mass-market merchandising appearances the car has ever had.

THE DIGITAL-FIRST CONCEPT

Lamborghini Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo

Lamborghini's Vision GT — a Sant'Agata-designed concept built first for PlayStation, then partially in carbon-fibre for the show stand.

Lamborghini revealed the Lambo V12 Vision GT at the Gran Turismo World Tour Final in Monaco in November 2019. The car was conceived by Centro Stile Lamborghini under design head Mitja Borkert as a 'shapes manifesto' — a design exercise free of homologation, regulation, or production cost. The proportions are extreme: a single central seat, no windscreen (just a wraparound visor), a hexagonal cockpit cell and exposed structural arches at the rear that double as air channels. LEGO® 76923 reproduces the silhouette closely (see Brickset 76923 for the bricks-level details).

Mechanically the car is presented as a hybrid: Lamborghini's specifications quote the production Aventador SVJ's 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 producing 815 hp, paired with a 48-volt electric motor on the gearbox to add a further short-burst output, with a kerb weight of around 2,200 lb (1,000 kg). These figures are concept-stage approximations — the car has never undergone independent testing — but they were used in the in-game version that shipped in Gran Turismo Sport in May 2020.

Like other Vision GT entries, the V12 Vision lives a double life: a single physical show car circulates between motor shows and Lamborghini events (it appeared at Geneva 2024, where the photograph in this entry was taken), while the in-game model has been used by hundreds of thousands of Gran Turismo players. 76923 — released on 1 June 2024 — became the first time the car appeared as physical merchandise in this scale, four and a half years after the Monaco reveal.

Display ideas

  • Pair 76923 with the Lamborghini Countach 76908 and Lamborghini Revuelto & Huracán STO 77238 for a 'three eras of Lamborghini design' shelf.
  • Group 76923 with the Bugatti Vision GT 77253 — both are LEGO® Speed Champions adaptations of Vision Gran Turismo concept cars.
  • Display 76923 next to the Urus ST-X & Huracán Super Trofeo EVO 76899 to contrast Lamborghini's race programmes against its digital design exercises.

People

The V12 Vision GT was a Centro Stile Lamborghini project from start to finish, with Lamborghini Squadra Corse contributing on the racing-derived hardware references.

Mitja Borkert

DESIGN DIRECTOR, CENTRO STILE LAMBORGHINI

Borkert took over Lamborghini's design studio in 2016 and personally led the Vision GT brief. Speaking at the Monaco 2019 reveal he framed the car as 'a Lamborghini for the next generation' — meaning a generation that experiences the brand first through PlayStation. The hexagonal forms LEGO® reproduces in 76923 (see Brickset 76923) come directly from his studio's Lamborghini-DNA design language.

Kazunori Yamauchi

FOUNDER, POLYPHONY DIGITAL — GRAN TURISMO

Yamauchi created the Gran Turismo franchise in 1997 and has personally shepherded every Vision Gran Turismo collaboration since the programme launched in 2014. He worked directly with Borkert's team on the Lambo V12's in-game implementation, including its handling model. Yamauchi has called Vision GT 'a way for designers to dream out loud' — context that helps explain why LEGO® 76923 is recognisably Lamborghini but unrecognisably road-legal.

The build

Scale and era

76923 sits in the LEGO® Speed Champions 8-stud era. It is the first Speed Champions set ever to model a Vision Gran Turismo concept and the third Lamborghini in the 8-stud line after the Sián 76900 and the Countach 76908.

Build highlights

Notable on the build is the central single-seat cockpit cell, the printed visor canopy and the hexagonal rear-deck graphic that maps the real concept's open structural arches. The driver minifigure wears printed Squadra Corse-style livery.

What the 230 pieces buys you

At 230 pieces, 76923 is a compact Speed Champions build — close to the F1 single-seater sets of 2024 (76919 McLaren MCL60, 77242 Ferrari SF-24) — and reflects how little surface volume the V12 Vision GT actually has.

FAQ

Is LEGO® set 76923 still available?
Yes — but not for long. As of April 2026, LEGO.com still lists 76923 as available, while Brickset records its retirement date as 31 December 2025 — meaning the set is in the 'last-call' window typical of Speed Champions retirements.
How big is the LEGO® Lambo V12 Vision GT when built?
Approximately 14 cm long and 7 cm wide — the standard footprint for an 8-stud-era LEGO® Speed Champions car. See the LEGO.com listing for boxed dimensions.
How many pieces does LEGO® set 76923 have?
230 pieces, including one driver minifigure, per Brickset.
Did the Lamborghini V12 Vision GT actually exist?
Yes — as a single full-scale show car. Lamborghini built one physical Lambo V12 Vision GT for the November 2019 Gran Turismo World Tour Final in Monaco, and the car has since been displayed at Geneva and other shows. It has never been homologated for road or track use. The drivable version exists in Gran Turismo Sport on PlayStation. LEGO® 76923 models the show car (see Brickset 76923).
Is this a 6-stud or 8-stud LEGO® Speed Champions set?
8-stud. 76923 uses the current LEGO® Speed Champions scale, which the line shifted to in 2020.
What other LEGO® Lamborghini Speed Champions sets are there?
The LEGO® Lamborghini Speed Champions catalogue includes 76899 Urus ST-X & Huracán Super Trofeo EVO (Brickset), 76900 Sián FKP 37, 76908 Countach (LEGO® 76908), and 77238 Revuelto & Huracán STO (LEGO® 77238).
