Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro

The track-only Valkyrie sibling — the version that doesn’t have to slow down for road regulations.

Set #30434 2022 97 pieces 8-stud Retired

The Valkyrie AMR Pro is what happens when Adrian Newey is told he doesn’t need to make a road-legal version. Built in a run of 40 cars, it shares the road Valkyrie’s 6.5-litre Cosworth V12 but ditches the hybrid system, the road tyres, the catalytic converters and any pretence of compliance with passenger-vehicle regulations. It produces more downforce than weight at 240 km/h. LEGO® rendered it as a 96-piece polybag in 2022.

TRACK-ONLY HYPERCAR

Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro

Newey, unrestricted

The AMR Pro removes the hybrid system from the road Valkyrie and adds 60 cm to the wheelbase, an extended front splitter, a longer rear deck and a higher-downforce wing. Power comes from the same Cosworth-developed 6.5-litre V12 — about 1,000 hp without the road car’s electric assistance.

The car was originally conceived as a Le Mans Hypercar entrant before regulation changes meant the project was reformatted as a customer track-only programme. Forty cars were built; deliveries began in 2022. Aston Martin has since announced it will return to top-class endurance racing with a different Valkyrie variant in 2025.

The build

Polybag in green and lime

30434 is a 96-piece polybag in Racing Green with lime accents — Aston’s historic competition livery applied to its most extreme product.

The Valkyrie’s long underfloor venturi tunnels and high-mounted exhaust outlet are sketched in via the polybag’s small slope-piece selection. As polybags go it carries a lot of bodywork detail.
