TRACK-ONLY HYPERCAR
Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro
Newey, unrestricted
The AMR Pro removes the hybrid system from the road Valkyrie and adds 60 cm to the wheelbase, an extended front splitter, a longer rear deck and a higher-downforce wing. Power comes from the same Cosworth-developed 6.5-litre V12 — about 1,000 hp without the road car’s electric assistance.
The car was originally conceived as a Le Mans Hypercar entrant before regulation changes meant the project was reformatted as a customer track-only programme. Forty cars were built; deliveries began in 2022. Aston Martin has since announced it will return to top-class endurance racing with a different Valkyrie variant in 2025.
