Chevrolet Corvette Z06

The C7-generation Corvette Z06 — a supercharged 6.2-litre V8 with 650 hp, in 6-stud Speed Champions form.

Set #75870 2016 176 pieces 6-stud Retired

The C7 Corvette Z06 (2015–2019) was the most powerful production Corvette of its time — 650 hp from a supercharged 6.2-litre LT4 V8, with available Z07 performance package adding carbon-ceramic brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres. It posted a 7:13.9 Nürburgring lap, faster than a Lamborghini Aventador SV.

Supercharged C7

The C7 Z06 used the LT4 6.2-litre supercharged V8 — 650 hp at 6,400 rpm, 650 lb-ft at 3,600 rpm. Body construction included aluminium frame rails, carbon-fibre hood, and removable carbon-fibre roof panel. It was offered with seven-speed manual or eight-speed automatic.

The Z07 performance package added carbon-ceramic brake rotors, adjustable aero (front splitter, rear wing), and Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres for the most extreme variant. The C7 Z06 was succeeded by the mid-engined C8 Z06 in 2023, which uses a flat-plane-crank naturally-aspirated 5.5-litre V8 — a complete philosophical reset.

The build

Six-stud C7 Z06

75870 is the 6-stud Speed Champions chassis. The C7’s sharp creased bodywork and side-air-extractor profile translate well; the rear-deck “stingray” nameplate is a sticker.

Yellow paint with the Z06 stripes are delivered through colour-injected bricks and printed body panels — a clean finish.
