Ferrari 458 Italia GT2

AF Corse-built customer GTE

The 458 GT2 used the road 458’s 4.5-litre naturally-aspirated V8 — regulated under GTE rules to about 470 hp. It ran a Hewland sequential gearbox, a stripped interior, and FIA-spec safety cell.

AF Corse ran the Ferrari factory effort with the 458 GT2 in WEC GTE-Pro from 2012 onwards, with wins at Le Mans GTE-Pro in 2012 and 2014 (and other Ferrari GT cars taking later wins). The 458 GT2 was succeeded by the 488 GTE in 2016.
